Find out what the information in the 'Class financial literacy results' section of your dashboard is telling you about student quizzes.
You might notice a section called 'Class financial literacy results' on your main teacher dashboard and wonder what the information in this widget is telling you.
Throughout their Banqer experience, your students will have quiz questions pop-up from time to time. Upon enabling a new module from your end, the module then becomes visible for students on their own dashboards. However, when clicking on the tab for the first time, they'll be prompted to answer 3 questions on the concept before continuing on to information within the module itself. An example of this pop-up is below:
They will receive Banqer dollars for each correctly answered question. You set this amount when creating the classroom, but can change it at anytime within your 'Class Settings' tab, in the 'Dashboard Settings 'section.
If any module quiz questions are answered incorrectly on the first go, students will automatically have those questions appear for them again in the Question Bank widget on their dashboard. In addition, all 3 of the initial pre-test questions (whether correct or incorrect) will be asked again, at a minimum of 2 weeks later, in the post-test. Teachers don't need to reset questions.
The questions for each concept are also set, and not editable for teachers at this stage. So, you might like to see the exact questions that will be asked- no worries! Click on a module tab and have a look section at the top called 'Financial Literacy Report for ______'. An example of this (on the Teacher Dashboard) is below:
Now back to the information displayed for you in the 'Class financial literacy results' widget- you'll notice several columns beside your students names. 'First' displays the number of questions correctly answered on the first go, 'Current' displays the number of questions correct now after the second go, and 'Improved' displays the improvement percentage between the two aforementioned.
To see this in further detail, simply click 'View more' beside a student name.
Shout out if you have further questions on student quizzes and the results that are visible to you.
