Banqer

There are a couple of ways students can make payments to each other in Banqer:

  1. A Student Banker (or two!) can be assigned to take some work off yourself. In this case, the Student Banker will be paying classmates from the classroom bank account on your behalf, rather than from their own funds. Check out more on this here.
  2. Students can pay each other directly, from their Everyday accounts, if enabled by you.

Although we don't generally recommend allowing students to pay each other directly, on a regular/ongoing basis (see more on why here), market days and auctions often take place in Banqer Primary classrooms. In these sort of instances, allowing students to pay each other makes transactions a bit faster and easier.

To enable this, click to tick the box 'Allow transactions between students' in your Payments & Transfers tab. The beauty is that you decide how long this is turned on! Simply un-tick the box when your market day or auction is complete to restrict this function again.
