Applying for Class Jobs

At the start of the year I get my students to write, or type up, company applications letters. It gives the students a purpose for writing and I literally end up with hundreds of letters. As awesome as this is for my students' literacy skills it can, at times, get slightly over-whelming. It was easy to misplace a letter or lose track of the companies I'd accepted. Last year, I trialled using a google form to great success! I sent my students the link and they could fill in the application online. These were then neatly collected in a google sheet. It was then super easy to monitor company applications and keep track of things. I would colour them green if the company was accepted and red if they weren't.I could also share the submissions sheet with the students so could see if their applications were accepted or not.
