How I've used and am using Banqer

The students receive Banqer dollars for completing homework, class work, participating in events and competitions (e.g. cross country) and doing their classroom jobs. Students had to apply for their positions at the start of the year by writing job applications. We had a Kids' Market at the end of Term 1, so we challenged the students (for homework) to think of something they could do, make, or sell that was environmentally friendly (our inquiry topic was 'Sustainability'). Students received Banqer dollars for writing up their idea, their costs, their predicted profit and their actual profit. They also received bonus Banqer dollars if their stall was environmentally friendly. If students donated a percentage of their profit for our Banqer auction, they received even more Banqer dollars.
