Great help for our Market Day

A term focus was on creating and advertising items to sell for reward money on a market day. Banqer assisted in various ways. We were able to teach the students financial Literacy and the value of money, particularly saving and earning interest. We created pretend money based on how much the students had earned and saved. This money enabled students to buy real items at our market day. Students were given classroom jobs to do to earn their dollars. It also helped the students learn about the value of collaboration to achieve a common goal. Part of the rewards programme aligned to ourschool houses, and if one person didn't fulfill their duties, the whole house suffered - great motivation! Thanks Banqer for providing this program and enabling us to use it in an innovative way.
